Five birds were lifers for me: Spotted Towhee, Yellow-eyed Junco, Stellar's Jay, Acorn Woodpecker and Broad-tailed Hummingbird.

I was in Tucson, Arizona for our annual Bible Conference and made an early morning drive through Saguaro National Park (East). I found and photographed my first Pyrrhuloxia. The Cactus Forest Loop Drive was so beautiful, I returned the following morning for an 8 mile run!

Life Bird! The pyrrhuloxia or desert cardinal is a medium-sized North American song bird found in the American southwest and northern Mexico.
Animal Shelter Furtography is my collection of pet photography from the humane society animal shelter to find new homes dogs and cats needing rescue or adoption. The photographs are posted on several national pet adoption websites.

"Toro" was a handsome bluenose American Pitbull Terrier dog that was picked up stray by an animal control officer. We did his dog adoption photography session on June 3, 2022 and he was rescued from the shelter on June 13, 2022!
